Thank you! The play was fun to tackle, and I'm glad you could picture Van as Campbell. ~Ali

Once again, another great chapter!

I love the interactions of the actors and how it affects their characters in the play. Your descriptions are so good, that I really feel like I'm there.

I have to agree with ltklo - I could feel the butterflies when they were rehearsing the kiss scene for Luke and Reid.

Great job!

I loved how captivated Eric was when Van and Mia were rehearsing.

Loved the first kiss rehearsal scene. I was giggling and there are butterflies involved.

The younger man reached out and ran his finger down Eric's jaw line. "Beard burn," Van noted.
oh my lord...

great chapter. :)

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed Eric in this chapter. I'm really appreciative that you had butterflies during the rehearsal scene. And I'm really grateful the beard burn line was so well received. :-) ~Ali

*melts* That rehearsal scene for LuRe’s 1st kiss just makes me swoon like a fool…I’m not even kidding :D You conveyed their fascination towards each other so wonderfully and all the emotions…, awe, admiration, even longing are there for us to see. I love this! Thanks Ali!

Oh, the flashback scenes are so lovely. You write them so well, I feel like I'm watching Eric and Van rehearse the scene. I really enjoyed the image of Eric's teeth mashing against Van's; that's how I thought of the first kiss, as well. Eric really went for it, though it was chaste. That's what I knew we had something special with these actors.

It's funny that Eric thinks something's going on with Mia and Van; I'm so used to thinking of Van as gay - it's never even crossed my mind that he'd be with a woman. But it's natural that Eric would think that, since he doesn't know about Van's personal life.

This is a brilliant storytelling device with the play; you get all of their tension out through the play's lines rather than direct dialogue. It gives each chapter an underlying tension which doesn't need to be directly commented on.

Thank you. I'm glad you're enjoying the flashbacks. And I agree completely, once I saw that first kiss, it was special between them and the characters. Van being gay will be addressed as the story progresses. And I'm especially appreciative that you liked the play, it really influences/touches on what's going on with them. ~Ali
