Very well done, Ali!

A few more chapters?? You mean only two, right? That makes me sad...

But, that couch scene was gorgeous, just gorgeous...ah, and "boyfriends" - hee, hee...:)

Thank you! And yes, I misspoke, only 2 chapters left. Makes me a little sad too. I enjoy sharing stories with all of you. Glad you liked this one. :-) ~Ali

I'm rather speechless. I'm a puddle. The tenderness was wonderful. It was all simply terrific.

...feeling the shattered pieces of his soul try to realign themselves.

“No, it’s you, you make me want…everything

I think my brain is functioning again :) All the Eric curly hair talk overloaded my brain. Geez, that pilot better get picked up, all indications are that he'll have that longer hair. Makes me a bit crazy :)

Oh, I loved curly hair Eric too (probably why I chose that topic for conversation...) Thank you. ~Ali

Loved that Van has Jake to turn to and Jake is so protective of him! Great friendship between these two.

I loved everything about the theater scene. The subtle flirting, admitting they're together, boyfriends! And talking about Van meeting Eric's kids as the man he's dating and not just as the "Comic Book Guy" was pure bliss! I hope the Mia is too disappointed when Van tells her he can't go on the blind date!

The whole scene in Van's apartment was beautiful and funny and sexy as hell!!! My jaw hit my keyboard when I read this... Eric found himself smiling in return. He loved that grin. “You,” he admitted. “I...I've been thinking about what you taste like.” Van always struck me as the one who would be the aggressor, not Eric. And I love Van's reaction to it! How he stumbled a bit as he walked over to him, trying to get closer to him to make it more real. The blonde chuckled. “Okay. But if you ask the delivery man to stay, then I'll be concerned.” You have no need to worry about your ability to write NC-17! It's just ( ... )

Thank you! Jake adn Van's friendship was lovely to write and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Van would probably be more aggressive if Eric hadn't walked out. He's really letting Eric decide how things go. Thank you so much for what you said about the NC-17 parts of the story. I hate that it's ending soon and I'll (hopefully) have chapter 13 up on Sunday. Thank you again. It's lovely to hear from you as always. ~Ali

Thank you. I'm glad you liked the Van/Jake and Terri/Eric friendship scenes. They were probably written for cherimola. Thank you for what you said about the apartment scenes. I'm a little obsessed with Eric's hair myself. ;-) ~Ali
