Menu help, please

Last month we signed up with papaspuds.com on the theory that if fruits and veggies were delivered every week we would do a better job of eating more fruits and veg.  Overall, this has worked well.  However, houseguest's visit being cut short and then my having fever and aches over the weekend rather messed up our planned meals with the result that ( Read more... )

browning bananas can be a frozen treat, too - slice them up and freeze them, and then serve w/ a bit of chocolate syrup to hide the discoloration. You could also try jam making with some of the fruit.

sweet potato works in breads as well. It all sounds yummy. :)

I haven't tried sweet potato in bread - that sounds yummy. I don't think we've enough fruit for jam, really. Plus I still have two jars of peach preserves from last summer in the freezer. Somehow I can't convince my daughter that cobbler is a form of cake and therefore worthy of trying. My son is happy to split it with me - fruit into his mouth, cake into mine.
