Why this is the worst month of my life

This is the worst month of my life because...it can be. Simply because it can. Sometimes I think my life likes to see just how miserable it can make me before I have the periodic mental breakdown.

(financial) Bad financial problems are bad. I'd been failing to properly budget for the past 2 months or so, and now have like, no money for myself.

Perhaps you didn't get requests for reserves because you didn't make a post about accepting that? Some people don't know when it's time to email you and such, so making the post helps... I think a lot of people aren't a fan of the series, either, and many are worried about quality since sugary carnival was really sub par when it came to fabric....

months like this suck, and i can't even pretend to know what you're going through, but i hope things get better. when everything is going wrong it can seem so devestating... hangovers also make things seem a lot worse when you're trying to get your thoughts out (i know this from experience heh)

Yeah, you're right. I was a little afraid that the reserves would have started next weekend though, when I'd be in America. Though I had a hunch they would have started today, since it looks like the new series has been announced already. I should have gone with my gut instinct.

The whole random secret reserve times is so weird to me, do they just try to prevent people from lining up? Has it always been like that?

They really are cranking out the series lately....I wonder if that's why quality has been dropping..

Yeah...as far as I can remember, it's always been like this. The first time I reserved something for someone was in Sept '07 for Toy Parade and it was all hush hush until the actual day too. The only thing for certain, is that it starts on a Saturday.
And yeah, you could be right...like for instance Rose Toilette and Yumemiru Macaron were excellent fabric quality. AP's getting more and more popular though, and they're making more prints to milk it. Eventually everyone sells out for money. :/

Man, I'm sorry things are so rough right now. Just keep going... pretty much the only good thing about times like that are, they don't last.

Also, that whole thing with Tetra is just fucked up. I don't know what to think about it.. First of all, do you really trust Erika? It's possible she could be lying about it. It's also possible Riri is just a slut (I don't like that word but sometimes...), and Tetra was in the right place at the right time. sad but true :/
I agree, if you called dibs, hand are off. And my girl code extends to exes too.. Some girls think that as soon as you kiss/fuck/whatever, he's yours.. but if she knew you really liked him a lot for real, she should know hands off. Or at least told you she liked him too. real friends don't do that shit. You don't need "friends" like her around you, that just is negativity. If I were you, I might ask about it.. but then shit might just hit the fan o.O Maybe wait till you aren't feeling so terrible.

Yeah, I believe her. I actually was picking up that something was there between Riri and Tetra, that they could like each other, I think even before their thing started. I thought maybe Tetra liked her, but I didn't know she was attracted to him too. They seemed really buddy buddy, but I thought it was just me being the pessimist as always. Turns out my pessimism is always right. This is why it's good to be a cynic. I don't really think Riri sleeps around that much. Though I'm not sure, she never really talks about guys and stuff like that. I kind of thought she was a bit asexual actually. So much for that. I don't know if she's a slut or not, but it's clear she doesn't appreciate me as a friend that much

I actually agree with OctaveKitten...maybe if you make a post announcing you can get the reserve, people will be reminded of it and use yopur service right then and there?

I hope you feel better, though. Hearing more about what went on with Riri than I heard earlier...it sounds even meaner. I don't know what she's thinking, but it almost seems like she's purposefully hiding her relations with Tetra from you...if something was going on, the least she could do is not encourage you. :x
it's almost like Riri only had eyes for him after you mentioned something. I agree, hands off if you called him!

I just want to wish you a safe trip and tell you to keep fighting. I've been through times of "shit series" - everything seems to crap out all at once. I hope things will get better for you really soon.

Crappy friends definitely don't help. If you're sure you can trust Erika's word, then Riri is a complete bitch. Definitely the friendship rule is to stay away from people your friend likes.

I'm so sorry hun. I too have been in a funk myself but I am trying to drag myself out of it.
