I do not understand and never have understood why people are so intent on my updating. Whoever you are, I would much rather meet you in person than talk to you over any sort of wires, phone and computer wires all included. Online journals are one of the biggest wastes of time I've ever seen. Why update over and over about the same shit? There are ( Read more... )

If it's such a waste of time, why do you do it?

Potential for enjoyment.

Whose enjoyment? Certainly not mine.

In a way, you're making a point. You could really care less about all our entries, and am I totally off base, or are you implying we should all not care about yours or your lack of in turn? We're all so predictable because we don't do this for anyone else, we have the right to do what we like in them because they're ourjournals, just as you have the right to do whatever you want in yours. Or were you not making a point and just looking for an excuse to insult a handful of people? I can't really tell.

Maybe if we talked more my posts would make some sense, maybe not, maybe they only make sense to me because they come from my head. I thought we were on a step to talking more or doing something after yesterday's conversation, but I have no idea if this is a blatent insult to how boringly predictably cryptic I am and if there's even a point. You tell me.

Actually you read way too far into this. I was really just talking. Don't take it so personally and I still will watch Angela Lansbury with you.

You'll love Mrs. Arris Goes to Paris, I just know it. On the other topic, I'm not trying to pick fights or scold or anything, so don't read a scornful tone into this. The problem is, Graham, when you say things like this, people are going to take it personally because it's about their personal journals, even about themselves, and of course they're going to be hurt. You can't say something like that and then expect nothing to come of it; maybe you did expect it, I don't know. Mine wasn't that bad as long as I know you aren't insulting me, but the thing about Alex and Damon for example? Sure, you and Damon are at each other's throats, but Alex is your mate, and it's harsh what you said about all his entries. Maybe you don't care if your mate was hurt, but I think you're a better person than that, so "just talking" seems pretty insensitive. You should know I adore you and I'm not trying to lecture, so if you start to get pissed off at me, just ignore that I said anything.

He didn't reply to this because he couldn't think of a one word answer for it.
