What a difference a weekend makes. This morning's swim was the warmest yet. It was also LOOOOWWWW tide. Swimming among the moored boats.

And I'm currently eating a bowl of Marshmallow Mateys, a Lucky Charms rip-off made by Malt O' Meal.

Now that's something I've never done...

I -have- to get that cereal just based on the name. Stop and Slop special? What are the marshmallow shapes?

Yes, it was like finding a Simpsons spoof of a cereal actually on sale. They were selling 7 oz. sample boxes of it at Shaws for a buck a box. Several varieties of your favorite cereals faithfully cloned by Malt O' Meal! The marshmallows were the ususally assorted mixed bag of stars, pots of gold and the like but the mascot was a Blue Kangaroo! With sunglasses.

awwww... with "Mateys" I was hoping for something nautical. Even something from the land down under (like "Brown Vegemites, Yellow Boomerangs, and Blue Fosters!").
