Jedidiah Sheng-en Vachon was born on April 4th 2012. Which makes him about about two and a half months old. I would put up pictures, but it seems like it's not an easy thing to do at the moment, so maybe later....

When I first came to China I quickly realized that if you want to talk to Chinese people and be understood, it is pretty much necessary to speak to them in Chinese, even if they speak English. I think the Chinese government monitors the websites I visit and then randomly blocks them. It's really annoying being able to get to website one day and then suddenly for no apparent reason having it time out every time you try to connect. Adobe and Safer-networking.org mysteriously became inaccessable this afternoon.

I'm gonna be a Daddy! Not for a little while yet, but the doc says Lingling's got a little one wrapped up in there, somewheres.

We have a new computer. Ever so exciting. I find myself using it much less than I did the old one. It's amazing how little I actually need to use it. Nice built in webcam and mic for talking to parents online though.
