I've been watching the Super Bowl most of the day, which was unusual for me since I no longer follow professional football. I wasn't too impressed with the commercials but thought the game was pretty good. I ate guacamole and hoisted a good bottle of ale in honor of Saint Brigid's feast day

My husband and I didn't watch the superbowl as neither of us is really a football fan, but we did watch the commercials on YouTube. I was disappointed in the commercials,too. I didn't think they were anywhere near as good as previous years.

I thought several of them were insulting and sexist. I did like the dancing horse and the one with the deer head in with the boss and the rest of the animal on the desk of the poor soul who needs a new job.

I got a good laugh at a number of the commercials, but oddly enough, the better ones came during the second half, which is not normal. I loved the 'crystal ball' one and the 'LMAO' one had me doing just so!

So much was happening in the game in the second half that I may not have paid the usual attention to the commercials. I did think of Trelawney when the man threw the snow globe.
