computers don't hug very well, though. tough to cuddle with them on the couch watching movies also.

You could put a computer into a pillow (Yesyes, chances are it'll overheat, but we'll jus' write that off as feeling "alive"). In fact, you could use said pillo-puter to broadcast the movie to your tele setup while clutching it... all from the comfort of your couch.
