you peeping woozlesnatcher

Luna has such a wonderful way with words!

I love this from the warm beginning to the emotion-filled end, but the two high points of hilarity, for me, are the Lucius ("Perhaps it's time to trim his allowance"), and the Eileen drabbles. No fez... Eileen may be an unworthy mother, but she's very entertaining!

Oh, thank you! I'm delighted you enjoyed it. It's terrible fun to write for Luna, because she just says what she thinks, whether it has any connection to reality or not. It's very liberating!

Dicky inspired the bit with Lucius, after she reminded me of all his hair problems. As for Eileen, well... she's a really awful mother, but she's a lot of fun to write. :-)

This is brilliant!
Like duniazade I loved the Lucius moment.
Poor Hermione, hope her mum can comfort her a bit and she comes up with something suitably mean for Peeves!

Thank you very much! I'm so glad you enjoyed the installment. I'm afraid we've been awfully mean to Lucius, damaging his hair and making him wear hats. :D

I'm sure Jocasta will do her best to comfort Hermione--and I'm very sure that Hermione will formulate a suitable revenge for Peeves. Hermione's not a witch to cross lightly.

Oh, dear. You'd think after seven years at Hogwarts, the girls would know better than to curse a Poltergeist! I just loved that you gave the dress a moment of glory before its hideous demise, and this line: "peeping woozlesnatcher" cracked me up - Luna has the best curses.

Thank you so much! The girls really should have known better, but I'm sure they never imagined that the whole thing might rebound and hurt poor Hermione. I'm so glad you enjoyed the dress' brief shining moment of glory!

I'm going to miss writing curses for Luna. I'm always worried that I wont' be able to think up something 'Luna' enough for her, but there's something really freeing about just coming up with the most absurd words that wander across one's mind...

It's been a real treat writing collaboratively and getting to know you better. I don't know what I'll do with myself, now that I'm done!

Thank you very much! I'm so pleased you've enjoyed the set. This is, indeed, what mums are for; they can make the most horrible moments in a life more bearable.

I know! I hate to leave it here, but I'm very sure that the other Harpies will find a way out of this mess.
