i don't think that voting for the lesser of the evils is a bad thing. since i hate politicians in general, i generally look at the list of candidates and eliminate from there. so i guess in the end i'm voting for someone, but i really thing of it as paring it down to the person least likely to screw things up more and might even do some good.
in terms of race/sex/creed voting for or against shouldn't be an issue. period. that has no impact on the person's ability to do the job or attempt to fulfill promises made.
and if condi gets anywhere near a presidential campaign, i'm moving to europe.

That's what I'm saying... it looks like this group is placing a lot of emphasis on them being a member of the same group as them, and pointing out that I think this is just as bad for a minority group to be saying as it is for a majority.

Aside from that, I agree 100% with the doing the least harm sentiment. (especially in regards to the 'That government governs best that' kind of way, but everyone should know that about me by now)

Man! I knew skipping racism class in high school was going to cause you problems. They covered this in like the second chapter, "Only White Men Can be Racist."
