i ran my first mile.

at 7:30 in the morning on the 29th of december i went for a run. i got to wear a tank and shorts as it was 72 degrees with 88 percent humidity. while other places in the country are expecting half a foot of snow in the next 48 hours.

with 27 days to spare, i have hit 100 for the year. woo. hoo.

with a full 5 months left to go in the year, i have finished 62 books. this ties me for fourth place in the six years i have been keeping track of how much i read. two more books and this will be the third place most read year. if i keep the pace i have thus set for the year, my final number come august 1st will be 106 books, beating my previous ( Read more... )

Cryptic notes and such left on your doorstep suck. Well, just the part where you can not fathom the who part. mostly because the creeper peeping into your window becomes a prime candidate. In which case the creeper has clearly become a stalker and knows me far too well. Which is unsettling. And it's making the idea of firearm ownership much more

seeing as how current tv is leaving me iffy, it's third rock from the sun and daria to rescue. and at least it's more modern than freakazoid, which was my last tv acquisition. and i also don't recall seeing nearly so much of john lithgow, so it will be pleasant in that regards too.

going 54 miles away, to a place you go every other week, you bring more items than a family of four [with two little ones] takes to fly to a state where it is freezing over christmas. i'm bringing four pairs of shoes. while it seems unreasonable, i can not find a pair to cut. i think my goal this weekend must be to use everything i bring, if for no ( Read more... )

four and a half months in and i am at 44 books for the year.
now i need to get back to cleaning.
ugh.

finished my seventh book of the month today, which puts me at 30 for the year already [with month three not even out yet]. which is exciting as i might actually break 100 this year, and somewhere with two and half months to go at that ( Read more... )
