1. If you're not careful, mixing can almost always totally remove the initial feeling you got from a track. I think that 80% of everything I've ever recorded sounded best before it went through a mixing process. I am determined not to have that happen, even if my album ends up coming out with all manner of blips on ( Read more... )

And it's made me very excited about my 60 piece choir

Please don't have them attempt hand movements, clicking of fingers, etc in unison... or all shouting "Yeah!" in a jazzy way, with jazz hands, at the end of a song.

I admit to having watched Last Choir Standing.

I agree regarding jazz hands, and perhaps clicking, but a bit of clapping is nice at that age. There is clapping, and CLAPPING, and I shall proceed with caution.
