I had my hair cut the other day and, as I was pondering on the gradual increase in the size of my bald spot in recent years, I recalled a time when hats were quite the thing.

Was that really 30 years ago?

My doormat is always littered with leaflets from local restaurants. I usually bin them, but one from the Red Rose Tandoori caught my eye the other day as it had photographic endorsements from a chart-topping rock band, a famous chef and one of the UK’s best-known politicians. WOW!

McAfee's security cover on my PC expired at the end of last week and it kept popping up and reminding me over the weekend. I finally updated it when I got in on Monday evening, before I'd even checked my email.
