Yesterday was a hard day. If there is one thing you should never have to do, it is go to a funeral for a 19 year old classmate. The service was nice. There was an outpouring of people from all over the community there. I don't really know what else to say. We love you Nick.

From time to time I will wake up in the morning and have a genius notion or plan. Mostly they relate to my constant procrastination when it comes to schoolwork. Well, I have been home for less than a week and this summer is looking okay. Mother and I are going to Denver on Thursday to visit my cousin Nicole. I've never been west of West Virginia, and that's not very west. I'm so anxious to see the Rocky Mountains.
