The single most scary scene in a movie (in my opinion) is the part in When A Stranger Calls Back where Carol Kane is searching the house with a gun listening to the voice of the murderer she can't see. well, CLOSE YOUR BLINDS!

I know, I know.

I'm actually not that worried about it. I just don't want it to happen to any other ladies in my complex. In conclusion, fat cop to the rescue!

I can't even type because I am laughing so hard. What was Kate's reaction?? I am viewing this story not as a near-tragic chain of events - but rather as an episode of "Friends."

I'd be surprised if Kate remembers any of this!

I made her feel my heart pounding and exploding in my chest and then we went to bed.

i looked up..
and there was this nasty dude standing in my window watching me sleep WHILE masturbating.

I was wondering where you had run off to, Valerie.

Next time you're in town let's hang out in front of open windows at unreasonable hours of the night.

The first three times i tried to read this it kept coming as "duck head, rise, and duck again" and your reaction really didnt fit the problem. I figured you of all people would have been pleased to see a duck bobbing about in your window, and calling the cops would only result in them calling animal control, which would be unnecessary...

but then i read it for a third and then fourth time for clarification and its all much clearer.

Also, i keep an old knife in a holster my dad gave me when i went away to college under my mattress for creepy occasions such as this.

I just made a mental note to not run screaming into your darkened room in the dead of night.
