I am torn between (1) the simple, aesthetic response, which is to only say how well-written this piece is, succeeding on many levels, emotional, sensory, intellectual, and (2) what a painful yet absolutely necessary confession it is, as a personal statement. Both of those comments pale in comparison with the plain truth that I am moved by your experience, and your telling of it.
