Just wanted folks to know that I'm still alive and well. Looking forward to seeing folks at Otakon next week.

I've been a bit out of commission anime wise this year, as I have gone back to (grad) school while still holding down my full time job. Plus kids etc. Yes I am insane.

Ooooh I'd love to know about how your presentation goes, that sounds wonderful.

We should catch up at some point when I'm not as holy crap totally busy as I am right now.

Yeah it's being rather fun putting it together. I was scouring around for a good range of material and then found Laura Shapiro had done a lot of the work for me (in the context of the USC DIY curation). I expect a couple of items may creep into the AWA panel.

Gives me a good excuse to go back through those lovely club vivid disks too.

BTW I still need to upload the HQ Astro Boy Forever to you all, probably get to it Sunday. Hope that's not too late.

Sunday will be fine. We've just finished putting together the con dvds for this year so now we will be looking at the other shows so it will be right on time.

Let me know when you have time to chat (reply to this or pm walterscott on the org). There are a couple of vids I'd like to use in the panel (us by lim for starters) and in additional to asking the creators for permission to obtain the HQs I want to make sure I don't overlap with you, in case you're doing an awa panel like last years.
