i lied that one time
when i said i didn't like poetry. of course i like poetry. i even like writing poetry (the only reason i pretend not to is because i'm terrible at it and that kind of bruises my ego). it's all just a matter of what kind of poetry. i went on a hunt today, for poems that i liked. i started a little notepad document, and i got quite a few. i even ( Read more... ) -
my balance is rigged to win.
Even when it doesn't seem like they should, things tend to turn out well for me. When there are a million bad things and only about two good things, the good always outweigh the bad by some trick of chemistry or physics or both. So I should be grateful, really. I was thinking about my own death just now, from a purely scientific/philosophical viewpoint. Please don’t put me on suicide watch.
