Got my new Magellan eXplorist 400 in the mail last night. WOO!

Now I need a windows machine to upload maps to it.

what, you don't have virtual PC? sure is slow as a dog on any mac that is otherwise incapable of running parallels or bootcamp... but it will work.

I do not have VPC, no. My machine could run parallels OR bootcamp, I just choose not to.

My father has a windows box that he was given for playing a few of this windows only games. That'll work for me. I can't imagine I'll need to update maps all that often. And should worse come to it, I'll buy a cheap used laptop.
