he looks SO soft! also, i like kitty feet. :)

how, HOW do you get him to hold still long enough to actually take a picture? or maybe i should say...how many blurry pictures did you take for each one of these amazing shots? miles will be perfectly still and calm for hours, but as soon as i get the camera out he's all over the apartment like the cartoon tasmanian devil, complete with wacky noises.

Yep! Take out the camera and they become feline perpetual motion machines, don't they!

Mostly, I just wait him out. He runs around for a long time, and I follow. He eventually stops, even if just for a brief moment. I try to anticipate, as well. But, yes, it's about 1 good shot for every 5 unusable (or not so good) ones - I sure couldn't do this with a film camera!

I keep thinking a REALLY funny photo page would be all the Kelvin outtakes I have. It sure does take persistance to get a good one. It takes an awful lot of time too, that's why the K pictures have slowed down. I wanted to document his little kittyhood, and did, but it was a LOT of work and time.

Some tricks are puting his favourite play toys on my head, making snickering and chattering noises to get him to look at me, etc. But he's mostly wise to my tricks now. :-)

The first one especially has a very "in the moment" quality that amazes me!
