Remember those
engineering exams I took back in October? I PASSED!!! Well, I passed three out of the four, and that's the second-best outcome I could've hoped for (the best result being passing all four in one try--nearly impossible!). Now I only have to retake the "tiny" 2.5-hour surveying exam that I failed. It was the last of the series of exams, and I didn't study for it at all because I wanted to focus on passing the other parts. I had never studied the subject (surveying), and I started reading a study guide during the lunch break before the exam, then winged it. Even so, apparently I got half of the questions right! So I imagine that if I do study sufficiently for the exam, coming up again in April, I should pass and finally get my license.
I'm totally stoked (yes, STOKED) that I passed the honking, grueling 8-hour exam because I also didn't study for that at all (notice a trend?). Was it worth the desparate trip to the port-a-potty? I dare say, YES!
The only exam that I DID study for was the seismic one, and thank goodness I passed it. It'd be sad if I didn't, but believe me, the test was that hard that I probably guessed on more questions than I properly worked through. But I passed! I passed! Probably not with flying colors (we don't get scores), but it doesn't matter. I passed! *runs around/flails arms*
