i drove out to greenport with my drivers ed car last year. i remember it being pretty boring and i slept most of the time but when i was awake, the drivers ed guy kept it interesting with his "english lessons" (lol i'll explain if you want to know) and whatnot.. who do you have for drivers ed? maybe we had the same instructor.

see you saturday... well actually, i'll see you before that in school, but yea.. recital saturday weeeee

you going to the same school as i do and generally having many of the same friends, had numerous friends that werent allowed, including the boy that i was talking about, i just didnt want to put names or anything cus that would be rude cus i dont know for sure how comfortable he is with it. and they werent allowed to donate blood cus they have had sex with other men in response to the aids crisis that sarted in the 70's. outragous isnt it.

i competely understand the not putting names thing. but its not like they mix the blood. they still have to test it jesus. jsut because you had sex with a man doesnt mean you have AIDS

i don't think society has as much to do with the restrictions on who can donate blood as medicine and statistics does.

actually statistically gay male are not on the top of the list. i actually have herd two different versions, 1)black females 2)latinos are above them. i am doing research to find out which of them are higher, but either way it is not homosexuals at all and lesbians are at the very very bottom of the list. so it does have a lot to do with the society because they instated the rule when the hiv virus was breaking out in the gay community, but that doesnt mean that all gay males should be held responsible, especially since, the rule specifically states no sex with other men since 1977 or had being a female that has had sex with a man who has had sex with another man., when people in high school werent even around then, let alone having sex. additionally, they screen all of the blood that is distributed in this country(they dont screen a good deal of the blood going to other countries like africa, that is why there is so much aids in africa cus we shipped them tainted blood!). so instead they should really just make sure that the ( ... )

i dunno... my dad says the people most highly prone to HIV/AIDS are either gay men or IV drug users...
and considering this is the culmination of his life's work...
and he's not biased considering he discovered that AIDS existed outside homosexual men...

If a certain people are more highly prone to a certain disease... then i think it would be better not to take any chances....
and they can't take off a regulation about the 1977 thing just because one of the stations is in a high school... they have the same regulations everywhere.

w/e... you're entitled to your own opinions on this, i guess... but sometimes it might be a good idea to think about the notion that not everything is society's fault.

well i dont know what your fathers line of work is and his expertise on the subject but and i know you dont mean anything by it cus you are not uncool like that or anything, but saying that male homosexuals are more prone to the virus is not only not true, but can be offensive. straight people are just as prone to it as gay people are!!!!!!!! it doesnt matter who you sleep with, we can all get it, its not like having a weak immune system, therefore you are more suceptable to getting colds or somthing. as i said before, gay people arent even at the top of the list of groups of people to have the virus any more! and of course they need to have the same regulations at a high school as they do at hospitals and other places that you can donate blood, but still doesnt the rule right. and when i blame society, i am not blaming individuals like the people who we are friends with, i am blaming the general sentiments that are felt around the country, and we all know that we live in a bubble of liberalism in the northeastern corner of america on ( ... )
