hell no he couldn't. The Honduran was way to sexy to be pope. The vatican can't handle that sexy latin blood.

we've been rooting for a black pope all week at my place! we were trapped at the laundromat when foxnews was covering the death of the pope (with no remote, obviously) and we played "flying nun" by launching ourselves onto the rolling laundry carts... we were gonna have a wake for the pope but we lost motivation i guess...

anyway if we had gotten a black pope i think most of our house would have been impressed enough to cut back on our vicious antichurch comments by at least 45%

I just saw a picture of the new pope. ::sigh:: He's an old white guy, just like, oh yeah every other pope I've ever known.

Can't they at least mix it up and get a not so white looking white guy? Someone with a tan perhaps?

Maybe when we get a president who cares.

Are all pope nominees so... old? I mean, is that part of the deal? Why don't they have some hot pope? I mean, can you imagine the amount of converts if the pope was some young hot dude?

I just read that Bush likes this pope. uh. Not a good sign in my book.

seriously, though, i hear you on the hot issue. wouldn't be enough to convert me but it would be nice to have something aesthetically pleasing to enjoy.
