A friend is hosting a discussion on her Facebook about what it means to take a break from theater. My story of how I came to my current hiatus was too long to post there, so I'm posting here and linking it there.
While I applaud and admire you taking control of your life this way and making decisions that improve it, I don't want you to think for a moment that we don't miss you!
awwww. *hugs* None of this would have been possible if I hadn't been so warmly welcomed into the T@F community. You and Beckie and Jo and so many other folks have always, always made me feel like I'm valued for myself, and not just for how much time or skill I can contribute to a project. I don't much like to think about what the past ten or so years would have looked like for me if I hadn't met you and your people. :)
Ditto! I'm glad you're happy and being satisfied by the work you're doing, but I miss seeing you, and I also think that we think more highly of your skills than you do. Don't for a moment think that we're just willing to let you do things if you try hard enough -- we very much appreciate what you bring to every role you have filled with T@F.

Your efforts and enthusiasm helped make BB1938 and BB1946 the most memorable of my experiences with PMRP.
