You know, it's almost better if you ignore the touristy "hey, we're the oldest so-and-so" places for being old and just enjoy being there. For instance, sitting down by the Castillo, facing the Intracoastal, is an awesome way to relax.

It perfectly understandable to be nervous/anxious about it, but as someone who's been through it, let me tell you to not sweat it. I can tell from your entries that you're quite edumacated, and college might be different for you, but I bet it won't be hard for you.
"They" won't regret giving you a scholarship.. you either meet all the requirements and boost their ratings, and they keep paying you, or you mess up and they take the money you haven't gotten yet.. (surely the latter won't happen, right?) There's no reason to be concerned of their disapproval. (You just turn into a number anyway, especially at a big school :-( )
Really, you can trust me on this: it's okay to be edgy, but don't sweat it. If it's what you want to do, then it's just another step in life.
