As some of you may be aware and others just being made aware, I made a road trip recently to Vegas and Portland. I'll at some point upload my daily thoughts of the trip, backdated, but I know not when.

In other news, I barely got half the stuff I said I'd do over break done. Alas.

I'm playing Longest Journey now, and I've having this conversation with a creature who perceives all moments in time simultaneously, so that it is incapable of finely distinguishing the difference between what happens in the future and what happens in the past. As I'm re-reading some Calvin and Hobbes, it occurs to me that I've never realized the obvious. I don't remember what I thought Hobbes actually was, but it was never that he's just a stuffed tiger. I feel silly.
