We're back from the two week trip in Spain. I'll (hopefully) get around to writing every day's entry at a later point in time.

Our plan for this day was to see Museum of City of Barcelona, check out, see Picasso Museum, wander Barcelona some more, get random food for dinner, then hop on an overnight train to Granada.

Today may have been one of the busiest days ever:

• Wake up @ 5am due to jet lag
• Get up @ 8am to wander Barcelona
• Go to Boquería Market, a famous marketplace, to grab breakfast and wander
• Take subway to Block of Discord, a city block with some odd architecture buildings, including one by Gaudi

2006, September 17/18th

Today heralded the beginning of my trip to Spain with Liu. Yes, it's a Sunday. Due to some brilliant screwing up on our part, we had all day Saturday to buy last minute equipment and do some good old-fashioned fretting about restlessly.

I did not know that hard drives have a maximum operational altitude. Apparently they require sufficient air pressure to keep the disks separate enough. Now I know.
