Chester and I found ourselves at the Angels game today, thanks to his sister who got her hands on some pretty good tickets. I hadn't been to a baseball game for, um... well, a long time. I've replaced my video card today for the second time. The first card had an nVidia chipset, as did the second. Both of them were okay until I wanted to do something with 'em (like play World of Warcraft). my department has replaced all of our desktop computers with new snazzy ones. they're nice. just one problem though - the shift and tab keys are terrible. they almost never work the first time ya push them down. it might have something to do with being slightly longer keys and an offset actual button below, such that when i tap the key it doesn ( Read more... )

In sorting through some of my dad's things, I came across his notebook from one of his first Dungeons and Dragons games. It was set in the land of Profundia - a place mostly inhabited by gnomes, halflings, and other small folk. The game was mostly silly.
