I have very few local friends, and the two people I am closest to don't drive so I have to go get them if I want to see them. There is very limited bus service in this area so that is not an option. Mostly I spend time with my online friends as well. I did not social with anyone from work either but that was due to none of us living close to each other. We always met at the office and left from there when we did anything together like a group lunch.
Some day I will probably change that. Of course, it means giving up something from Dementia Radio so I have the time to be with non-online friends. They better be worth it.
