Ummm today I had my favorite student moment ever.....it was the last day of Public Speaking, so we turned in our last outline/gave a speech, and 10 minutes later had our final grades for the semester and were free to leave. Still one of the first songs I think of to play on breezy/pretty days in my car or anyone else's, or in my house with all the windows open. Basically all afternoons/sunsets that have a little extra sun. I think the day I'm finally sick of this song, it'll be time to die. I hope I'm 97 and still this happy.

Hi hi. After completing my second to last shift yesterday, I'm only one away from my very last at that job, and living occupation-free until January. As of Friday I shall be a free woman, which means max amount of time to do what I want. Which includessss lots of things. Since Summer school got out, I have been so relaxed. Its nice to be at work and do whatever when its slow, and not have the hw/studying I'm ignoring pressing in the back of my brain. Its easy too doing anything/sleeping where ever and having no real structure, except to be there 10-4 the same 5 days every week. I have 2 1/2 more weeks to live this ( Read more... )

2. I'm gonna go to a baseball game soon, drink my first beer (actually second) since July 27th 2007, and then swear it off for another year. The only question is with who, and what team. OUCH. Seriously....no one told me that vicodin/percocet made every room feel like its 115 degrees...all I can eat is peanut butter golden spoon and close to frozen slim fasts. I did leave my room for the first time yesterday to go to a wedding, it was over looking 90 miles of the desert and it was beautiful. I go back to work Friday, I can start ( Read more... )
