Well, Jess seems on the road to recovery, thankfully - we made it through last night without being sick, which is a good sign, and he seems to have his appetite back. He managed an incredible chunder the night before - three body wracking heaves, each one producing totally different colour sick as the meals he'd eaten that day came back up in

Oh good, I'm so relieved to hear he's doing better. Poor little mite. Sorry I didn't respond to the posts about being ill but I did see them, damn internet time limitations.

Yeah, I should bear in mind that parenthood brings on a hitherto unsuspected tolerance for all things feacal and vomit related, and that folks without kids may not be similarly inured.

I gave up on guitar hero in disgust, I'm beyond rubbish. Currently enjoying Assassin's Creed, though.

GH is one of the few games I've ever really felt that my skills were noticeably improving with time spent playing.

I really enjoyed about 2/3rds of Assassin's Creed (although I thought the modern day bits were just bizarre). Eventually I sort of ran out of steam with it; the missions didn't have enough variety to hold my interest. Hopefully that's something they'll fix in the sequel.
