You know what con crud is, right? It's when you get sick before/at/after conventions and lasts for about a week or so. Well, I have Afghan crud. It's been a little over a year since I posted on LJ. Mostly because I've moved to the Facebook and have only made small posts. I've got to say though, on facebook, I have to watch what I say on that because pretty much ALL my family and friends are on there even if I filter it. ...that is to say, I'll leave right after work tomorrow. My bag is all packed and I got clearance for the weekend. Everything is G2G(good to go). Got someone to watch Roxy while I'm gonna be gone too. I'm kinda excited. I haven't been to the Orlando area in almost a decade. Well, everyone wish me safe traveling for the weekend.

I was on a plane flying from The Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport, MN to San Antonio, TX. It was my first day working for the United States Air Force. I can't believe it's been so long already. In my apartment that is. Since I got all my stuff out of storage, I've been working like a dog all weekend to get everything set up. The kitchen is totally done and so is the living room. well, it took about a week and a half but I have all my stuff that was in storage for the year I was in Korea. Now to go through the TON(literally 2,380Lbs) of boxes so that I can get everything put to where they need to go. I figure that I will get everything unboxed and put up in about a week. Time to go to work!

My first day of work went pretty good. I did have one hiccup during the day. Ever since I arrived here, my car would not want to start. Come to find out that it was my starter. Oh great! Well, I thought that the best option, for short term, was to hit the starter with a hammer to free up the cog so that it would start. I've been doing that every ( Read more... )

Hey, I just want to let everyone know that I am in Florida now. I just got my internet in my apartment today. I actually got into Navarre yesterday. The trip went very smooth.
