RIP Gary Gygax.  Without you, I wouldn't be who I am today.  I wouldn't be sitting on a novel I'm nearly ready to try and sell.  I wouldn't have met my wife or most of my best friends.  I can't imagine a life without your influence.

 So, the kitchen is in.  There are slight hicc-ups in the whole process, and there are still some quibbles with some of the work that was (or wasn't) done.  On the whole, though, the damn thing is awesome.

And finally I can wash dishes the way god intended... by dishwasher!

So, we are getting a new kitchen soon.  As in, monday.  Though I suppose it would be fairer to say that the new kitchen came today, and monday they will put it in.

So, my wife decided to cook me Thanksgiving dinner, as a way of making me feel at home. It was a wonderful offer on her part, though something I wasn't sure she was aware of what she was getting into. First, though, a bit of back story.
