Also Trever, your mind has a strange way of working... if you were to know that decapitation was coming, your brain would instinctively deactivate all your nerves around that area of your body, much like if you were to get shot in the front. However, if it were not anticipated, it's likely that what you wrote above, with all feelings included, would happen.
