Well, that's hard to resist. I've just gotten into CSI fandom and I'm a real Grissom-gal, plus a total perv, so I'm loving working my way through the memories of grisskink! This was a great fic, not a pairing I'm too big on, but this works well and I love the image of Gil all turned on by being 'assaulted' and pushed around. Hmmmm, really delicious, that image.

Dom!Nick is a tricky animal. I have a hard time imagining him being into it for his own reasons (although I can imagine very specific cases where he might be), which is why I tend to approach it as more of a thing he'll do as an indulgent partner. Cuz hey, if it gets Gil off, who's Nick to argue? ;)

And it's always in the back of my mind when I write that there are people who aren't sold on this idea, and to be honest, you and people like you are kinda my target audience. If I can get this to work for you, then I don't need to worry about the people who are already on board with this configuration.

Guh! Sub!Grissom is usually on my squick list but this was hot. Loved it and a nice pace with the conversation setting up the scene in italics. It made you aware that this was not a a dub-con so we could enjoy the forcefullness of Dom!Nick.

Oh, I loves me some subby!Grissom. Still, glad you braved a potential squick and had it pay off for you!

Also glad the flashes of conversation worked. I was having problems while writing this, because I *didn't* want it to seem like dub-con or non-con, and at the same time I didn't want to tone down what Nick was doing. It occured to me, that with a scene like this, there would be very strong subtext because Gil and Nick would have hashed this out to *death* before trying it for real, and those conversations would be going through Nick's head in a time like this. So that's where I went, and I'm pretty pleased with the result!

I like the twist on this, how it's Gil as the submissive, and how it works because Gil is just a little too much in his head. Also, breathplay is a special hot button for me, and you do a good job with the simulated rape/not non-con scenario. I've missed your fic, but this was worth the wait. I am so glad to see this challenge running again.

Do you think it would be possible to start a post that community members could submit pairings, and/or short scenarios a la STM that anyone could volunteer to write when the mood strikes? Kind of like a bullet-proof kink wishlist.

I missed writing. And CSI was making it hard for me to find my inspiration. But I think all that's worked out. No matter what happens in canon, this is still my personal playground.

And speaking of playgrounds, I think a bullet-proof kink wishlist is a fanTASTIC idea. What I'd love to see, actually, is something like this. But alas, I'm not gifted with that kind of coding.
