Technically, in the past, although I did get presents, my parents never really spent the time with me, but I did make up my own little list of things I'd do.
Throughout the month of December, the giving and opening of gifts is allowed on every day except the 25th. I never really got the idea why people did open it on that day, so I decided to become the anti-conformist. On Christmas Day, I'd spend the day with either my family (who usually invited other people when I was there), or with my closest friends that could spend the day with me. Sadly... this is all. My family was never close to me, and I usually try not to break the spirit for anybody else.

Nothing all that amazing here. Christmas day we'd wake up early and dad would have the camcorder or (later) just the camera. When we were really young we'd always have the huge tree (10 footer, damn near!) that we had spent the last week decorating with everything imagineable (we have a HUGE collection of ornaments and things.) The presents would all be laid out during the night (Santa wouldn't come until we were asleep, and even if I was smart for my age and skeptical of the true existence of Santa I knew I didn't wanna take any chances.) Such a grand display and some very memorable mornings
( ... )
open presents from my mom's family on x-mas eve and try hard as hell to not show everyone i was dissappointed. christmas day, go to my dads house and try even harder to show no dissappointment.
