Holy geepers.

yeah. I'm still alive.

Working, working some more.
Sailing.
Working some more.

My sister visited last weekend.
She brought me a bicycle.
It's a red 1970 Schwinn Typhoon.
Single speed, coaster brake cruiser.

-and that is why it started raining.

So, I've been busting my ass at work since I started.

-and what does it get me?

Last minute plans lead to sailing for the first time in 15 years.

Short handed crew, unfamiliar boat, and winds that went from nil to gusty squalls.
-and we came in 5th of 11.

Does anyone in the Seattle area have a Canon XT (not the XTi) that I could borrow for an hour or two?
I've got to test-fit a silicone skin prototype.
It doesn't need a battery, lens, or memory card.

OK, so maybe while the fire burns I'll put a little time into a project for work.

1. Create mold of the lower portion of a Canon XTi battery grip.

2. Make a plastic casting of the battery grip. Drill and tap the tripod mount, and screw in a tripod socket extender. Start marking possible Camera Armor ID.

Now that it's winter again (dang, that was a short summer!) the agenda today consists entirely of this:

Saturday was the first day I didn't work in the past 12 days.
I worked 115 hours in the last two weeks.
-to bad I'm salary.

Seems like Saturday was our "one day of summer" for the year. At least that's the way it's looking.
I did manage to take advantage of it.
