Try Titaya on N. Lamar. There are a million (bad) thai restaurants in Austin, but that is probably the best. We should go to a few divey places together. I'm always looking for someone to brave the ethnic/east side establishments with me.
Your post about meeting Dan Rather merited comment. I knew what I wanted to say at the time but didn't have access to the quote I wanted. Turns out it only took about two minutes using the internet and some thought. But here's what I was going to say:
