covid and flu shot same day, regrets and sadness the next.

I have spent so much time staring at a blank screen over the last... year ish just telling myself to update and haven't. Anyway, I've had my gallbladder removed, have 1k+ miles on my euc, have a car... and put on 25 lbs. Which is a lot but not a huge deal unless you are diabetic. I'm doing keto for a bit wish me luck, this is day two.

So in summary, ribs still damaged, but much better. I can ride the beast fairly confidently now only took (checks odometer) 95 miles. Other than that, have a job application in with a recruiter, so slightly better odds than blind submission. Here's hoping.

heavy and ungainly, I wonder how long it will take A my ribs to heal enough that I can torque it around properly, B the skill riding this thing as its so different.

So... if I hit the asphalt with my upper chest really hard I bounce, who knew? also ouch.

So I finally get recovered from surgery, get riding for a week, then my kid brings home something that causes a week long sinus infection. Doesn't keep me from riding, but having to blow your nose with a helmet with faceguard does get obnoxious.

I feel fine, barely notice the incisions etc. If I was dumber I'd be outside right now riding my EUC.  It's a gorgeous day. Instead nope being smart, giving it the full two weeks.
