I got my W-2 last week and hoo-ey, I paid a lot of taxes. Not having two months of un-withheld unemployment checks, as I did in 2006, is really noticeable. Also noticeable: That I think I still qualify for subsidized housing in New York City. Anyway, having 12 months of withheld wages means I should get a refund this year, so I got excited ( Read more... ) -
