Everything is on the up and up, it seems.
The Grand Rapids album release went off without a hitch. Nearly everyone I have ever met in this city was there, and that (plus Founder's beer) caused for an overly sentimental Jon. Yesterday was definitely a Grand Rapids classic type of day. The Narwhale played two shows, one in the morning at the DAAC (a benefit show for the guy who runs Apparitions comics, who was shot during a robbery a few months back) and the other at Celebration on the Grand (an annual downtown festival). I'm going through my computer today, trimming the fat and trying to get at least another year of life out of this piece of junk. The screen has been broken for about a year now, and the pixels have bled in a pattern that resembles something like the angel of death's logo.
