Today I got back to Budapest from my weekend trip to Krakow. The city was beautiful and full of churches, and Auchwitz made me disgusted with humanity. This past weekend we made a trip to Vienna, which was pretty cool. Now I'm skipping class for the day because I'm tired of having things to do all the time. It's better to chill when you can.

So I just turned 19 in Hungary and went on a camping/climbing adventure to celebrate. It would also seem that slingers of the good'n'green are just as unreliable here as in the States. Here's what went down:

So I'm in Hungary and having a blast. There's so much to tell that I don't feel like spilling it all on the lj, but the city is beautiful and the living is modest for the most part. I guess I'm done volunteering, but that only makes me feel guilty. I need to pack and get things situated for my trip, I know, but these last few days have opened my eyes to how many people are in need and how much is yet to be done. It makes me very disappointed in myself to be leaving, but you've gotta do what you've gotta do. I hope some folks ( Read more... )

Scott, Jeef, and I have tickets to Victor Wooten this Wednesday because that's how we roll. I can't believe those guys are 21. Neither can they.

And I'm making a care package for the coolest girl in the world and it makes me smile all the time. After all, it's Mondaygras.
