D: Thank you, I don't even know why I'm still on here.

How do gender and language (or conversational style) interact? It's a stupidly broad topic which I had to do a lot of readings for that I didn't do until maybe yesterday

Hey you! Yah, you! You promised to tell me about it! D=

P.s. I'll be in Montreal! Hopefully! *crosses fingers*
Now get to that paper. I'm stalling on my stats homework that weigh soo little I don't even know why I bother sometimes and should just do french.

Oh yeahhh...text me, I'll hook you up with a little something something.

P.s. Well, I mean, if you get a job opportunity to be in a smaller, more rural town you should definitely take that. Don't worry if we both get in and don't have jobs in the same city. The important thing is to IMPROVE YOUR FRENCH

Awww :C I hope your paper goes well! 2000 words isn't all that long, right? It's 7-8 pages. That's not bad :3 I hope it's interesting, at the very least. (..I use lj as a scapegoat for my papers too XD)

I have never been to Montreal~ Or Quebec, for that matter. Though, that work-exchange programme sounds fantastic, I'd love to do something like that too. Except that it'd be worse because whenever I try to speak French I end up speaking German and then I would be laughed at and not be understood. Good luck with that too!

Yeah it wasn't that long :P It was just the whole actually writing it out that I wasn't looking forward to. (oh LJ, you are such a horrible distraction)

It's a really good opportunity, I'm surprised more people don't know about it - at least in the university circles I've talked to.
Haha I think that would be amazing if you accidentally switched to German halfway through a sentence. The Quebecois, they would be so confused...
Thank you!

Let's you and me pretend we totally did not drop off the internet, at all, Ever.

;___; Gosh, I know how you feel. I have a whole stack of make-up work I seriously need to get to but... eh... *cough*

Pffft. Love, Genius takes time. And don't worry about the mound of comments you 'need' to get to.

Hm. I just spent the last five minutes reading your tag list. "barnacles of death," "hot toddies," "I'm a dumb ass," "omwtfholyshit," "orchestra practice is the pits." That amused me.

Haha "drop off"? We did not "drop off" my dear we were simply taking a...."technological vow of silence".....

I always try to make up tags but I hardly ever use them more than once D:

That sounds like a sweet deal; Montreal is a great city. Um, I've been living in Montreal for seven years or so. I'll try my best to answer any questions you might have!

Ahhh really?! So cool.
How's the public transport like? I have no idea where I would be staying so I might end up having to traverse the city D:

Montreal has a really great and extensive transit system all over the island and even beyond it. I commute everyday with the bus and metro as do most students who live here. Pretty much everywhere has a bus stop right around the corner so you should be fine wherever you decide to live.
