believe it or not, I read that whole thing. and trust me, I know exactly how you feel about many many of those things. and I wish I had the answers for you, but I dont.. but all I can say is that you just gotta hang in there and do what's best for ANNE, and not for anyone else. you just gotta live your life for you and worry about yourself being happy. you're a great person and if you decide to go away from the internet, then I'm gonna miss you.. but at the same time, I also understand your reasoning why you choose to do that. but either way i <3 you. :[

anne- i know i dont know you too well and i am one of those friends you occasionally talk to online and see at very random shows...but im here in chicago! if you ever want to hang out or just go somewhere, i would love to become better friends! like everyone else who commented, i feel the same way about so many things..everyday i find myself ready to give up on everything, school, friends, and most of all the music scene..i think what you have to remember is the good times..go to a show you have been looking forward to for a long time and just go crazy and dont worry about anyone else there..dont worry about the band, the fans, the groupies..like the other person was saying, when you stop thinking about things, sometimes it helps..just take a break for awhile..i hear you about everything though..i cant get a job b/c i have my lip peirced therefore i have no money when it seems like all my friends have money to burn..i drive a crappy car that is about to fall apart when everyone else drives their parents awesome cars..i have to pay for

About #6... Because of you whoring the Matches like crazy on the IC, I checked them out and everytime i pop in that CD i think, "shit, I owe Anne so much for this". And I'm sure there are some other people that feel the same. Yeah, it doesn't get you backstage or whatever, but it's still something.

i don't really have anything insightful to say, except that if situation was different, we'd be wreaking havoc together, but we just have to make do and make the best of the situation we've found ourselves in in terms of geography/our friendship. i love you so so much, and the first thing i'd do if i won lotto would be come over there and spend time (and moolah!) with you.
