Aries Personality:

Aries, the Sign of the Ram, is the first in the Western Zodiac cycle, running from March 21 to April 19. It is the cardinal Fire Sign, making those born under its influence especially energetic. Typical aspects of the Aries person include an eagerness to forge ahead and take risks, perseverance in the face of adversity, the belief that others are innocent until proven guilty, and an overall quality of leadership.

These are counterbalanced by a tendency towards intolerance, jealousy, selfishness and stubbornness as well. The Aries individual can also be an extremely poor judge of character, concerned as they are with the surface appearance of things and people. Winning for an Aries isn't everything -- it's the only thing.

The typical Aries female is slim and strong, toned and defined. A completely physical individual, you spend hours in the gym every day and the payoffs are evident and immense. You appear to have so much surplus energy that your very skin seems to glow. You hair is thick and luxurious, and you take much justified pride in its appearance.

Indeed, your pride in every aspect of your appearance is justified -- you sport nothing save the latest and most elegant styles and scents, appropriate for every occasion. You are dedicated to your career, and possess a candor (and firm handshake) that can take you far in the world. Your fearlessness in the face of obstacles commands a fierce loyalty from your friends and supporters.

Aries people like being liked by others, as well as the best wines, personalized license plates, lots of money to throw around, new clothes, roses, exotic food with interesting garnishes, personalized gifts in general, presents wrapped in intriguing packages, books, and sparkling gems of every color in the rainbow, especially those worth a lot of money.

Aries people dislike being ignored, physical restrictions, being placed last rather than first in any assessment of physical or mental prowess, feeling hungry, anyone who performs better than they do at a given task, old things that are worn and shabby, second-hand stuff, having to wait for anything that they feel is theirs by right of conquest, and bland food served in an unappetizing manner.

People born under the Sign of Aries are moving targets where love is concerned -- always looking, seeking and often finding. It can be very hard to resist the Ram's magnetic charms. The aura surrounding those born under this Sign is one of intensity and intrigue, so many will be tempted to step up to the plate. This is exactly what the Aries person counts on -- multiple opportunities to play the game of love!

Some things will work and some won't, but the game is enjoyable no matter how it is played. The beauty of it all is that Aries flourishes in love, becoming a more sensuous, understanding and feeling soul. As long as Aries remembers how to share and learns how to be part of a duo, things can go quite far in the long run.

These Ravenclaws will have lightning-fast mental reflexes. Aries is an intellectual sign, but it is also an impatient sign; Ravenclaws who were born under this sign are likely to tolerate no dull wits or stupidity, whether they see this lack of mental competence in themselves (in which case they will berate themselves for not understanding, or give up quickly in frustration without really trying to overcome their difficulty in learning) or in others (in which case they will lash out at the offender with acidic comments and haughty, cutting looks). These Ravenclaws will want to be at the head of the class, dominating other students in their chosen intellectual field, and may be almost as competitive as Slytherins. However, the true aim of every Ravenclaw is knowledge, knowledge, and more knowledge. While a Slytherin might see losing a magical duel or being bested by another student in a DADA class as humiliating, the Ravenclaw will probably just take delight in competition for its own sake, and see defeat as a learning experience.

Personality

Lisa Elena Cutti was born on August 26th 1940 to a Muggle family in India. Her parents, Anita and Devdas Cutti, had propheted from the English during World War II and during their reign and the family was far from struggling. Of course, after the British rule was abruptly ended in 1947, the Cutti's were no longer held in high regard, so they were forced to leave for England.

When Lisa got a letter to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, her parents were a bit hesitant, but they wanted their daughter to reach her full potential. After all, it wasn't as if they didn't have the means to support her. So Lisa was sent to the school of magic in 1951, and was sorted into Ravenclaw. She excelled in all of her classes with the exception of Flying. She preferred to keep her feet planted firmly on the ground, thankyouverymuch. She passed her exams with flying colours every year, and could have done anything she wanted. So she went back to living a Muggle life for a while and went to Michigan University for a doctorate in Medicine in 1958, and graduated in 1964.

With her experience in both Muggle and Magical medicine, she was hired by St. Mungo's to work in the ward that specialized in treating muggles with magical maladies and became the first female Head Healer in that department. During her time there, she met Dr. Gregor Haus, whom she now refers to as "the pain in her backside". They became good friends rather quickly. Sort of. He annoyed her to know end, and vice versa, but deep down they both knew that they'd never find a more loyal friend. Unless it came in the form of Dr. James Voigt. She spent many years playing the "Jon to his Steven" (in the words of Kimglish) and did her best to help smooth things over when he did something incredibly and almost irrevocabley stupid. When the Yaxley's more or less bought St. Mungo's, however, Cutti could do nothing to change the mind of the board. They fired Haus, but he and Voigt found a job elsewhere. Or so she heard.

Cutti just recieved a job offer from Albus Dumbledore to teach Muggle Studies at her old school. She has accepted and will be a Professor at Hogwarts for the 1977-78 school year. She will also be helping out as a nurse, as needed. Well, at least she'll be helping Voigt keep Haus in check.

Cutti has always been a fighter, not a lover. Ever since she was very young, she would choose to stay inside and read, or study or work. She always put her job and future first, and claims she is far too busy for silly things like making friends or falling in love.

There really is only one word to describe Cutti, and that is snarky. Especially when it comes to dealing with Dr. Haus. If she didn't respect what a good doctor he was, Gregor would have probably been punched several times by now. Or at least had a good shouting at. As cruel as she can come across at times, Cutti really is a caring person. If she didn't care, she'd never had become a doctor, after all. She has very strong familial ties with her parents, and would do anything for them. The same goes for Haus and Voigt, though she has a funny way of showing it.

Lisa is the mother of, in her opinion, the most beautiful little girl in the world. Sure this has put a slight hitch in her nonchalant relationship with Dylan McHafferty but she couldn't be happier with the way things are working out for the two of them. They can still be friends, she can have a kid.

no_timewasters. Dylan is easily her closest friend in the castle at this point. And this friendship does, indeed, have benefits. And a kid, for that matter. He's the father of her child and, as hard as it is for them, they're working it out. It's enough for her to know that he's going to be there. She does care for him deeply, it's just not quite love.

poison_infrench. Abime is like her gay best friend without the liking boys. She can talk to him about any problems, female or not, and she feels very comfortable around him, even though it isn't always the same. She likes to pretend that she looks nothing like his late wife, and therefore avoids the awkwardness, but she knows he can't always do the same. Despite their fights, Lisa truly cares for him.

confusedhippy. Possibly the only person in the castle that Lisa completely adores. He makes her feel special and important, and that is enough to make her forget even her worst moods. She'll be the first to flip out at anyone who treats him badly, even if that person is Dylan. In Lisa's eyes, that sweet man deserves nothing but the best.

patientmd and rubikscomplex. The resident pain in Lisa's arse, and the man who puts up with him. These two have been a part of Lisa's life for years, and she hopes the trend continues. That is if they can all get over her past with Greg. She'd much rather go back to the easy friendship the three of them once shared than worry about her former love for the drug addicted cynic.
