Australia - Day Three
Posting during my lunch (more food...who's surprised?). Today Steve and I hit up this Italian restaurant up the street from work called Arevederci (or however that Italian pleasantry is spelled). I got the pasta primavera and Steve got a mini pizza and a salad combo. The salad had pesto potatoes in it! I'm sitting at my desk eating this pasta ( Read more... ) -

First off: Hello from Australia!
A few things I’ve noted in the 24 hours I’ve been here are:
-You drive on the left side of the road
-Signs say “Give Way” instead of “Yield”
-Trashes are called “bins”
-Burger King is “Hamburger Jack’s”
-The two most common phrases are “no worries” and “cheers”
-Everyone is inherently nice

So tonight marks a passing of...well, something. Im leaving for Australia in three days, and my friend Christian is leaving for Dayton, OH for good in just about the same amount of time. I'm reviving my journal in light of my SUPER AWESOME AUSTRALIA TRIP COMING UP. I leave on Sunday, it's pretty much the most exciting thing to ever happen to me.
