The Giants season is lost, plainly. Whether they win or lose the rest of the way is meaningless. So, yes, it makes a certain amount of sense to see what they have for the future. Eli Manning is aging... though this year's failures are hardly his fault, given the injuries to the wideouts, the lack of a running game, and the porous offensive line

As a fellow Patriot's hater, I feel your pain.

The Dolphins can't seem to get a great qb, but then when we land a serviceable one, we can't get a great coach.

I thought Coughlin was a good coach (2 superbowls) and certainly better than the current guy.

Perhaps, we need a new sport to root for. The Islanders aren't doing too bad.

I honestly don't know what they were thinking. I find it hard to believe they didn't know the unanimously negative backlash they would receive by doing this. From fans to players or staff they would want to bring on in the off season, the Giants brand is now tainted, at least as long as Reese and McAdoo remain.

It'll be ironic when the Giants get the #1 pick and that pick refuses to play there due to poor team management... when did that last happen again? ;)

A bit sad about Eli but its a tough business. From a Money Ball perspecitve he has not had good numbers for sometime. Beckham changed that a bit but for whatever reasons his TD/interception ratio and passer rating has been below average for sometime.
