A blanket is another layer that a headcrab has to get through to lock onto my skull, tunnel into my braincase and feast upon the delicious pie inside.

It doesn't actually have to be a blanket (it could be a sheet), but there has to be something.

Yeah, I'm mostly the same; because you (grrremlinski) said blanket and not sheet, I went with answer #2. Unless it's so dang hot that even a sheet is unbearable (and that's pretty rare), I'm good with having just a sheet and no blanket in summer.

Same here, I have to have some sort of covering or I can't sleep. Even it's just partially flung over me:). (can't sleep, spiders are going to eat me)
