I would say, "I know how God feels." These kids in my classes don't want to listen to me one bit. They yell, interupt, refuse to participate, and don't follow instuction. They are mean, even.
if i was a mother i would say, "i know how you feel" but i dont. stick with it. you're probably only one of the few authorities they're ever going to have. make it count.
Joel...if you were my teacher......i WOULD BE THE LUCKIEST STUDENT alive! it takes allot for me to believe that your students actually react this way. sincerely, hannah holcomb

i think i know a little how you feel. it's possibly like how i felt when the kids i was staying with for a week said "we don't like you," and proceeded to disobey and ignore everything i said. i didn't lash out but i didn't give in either. the crazy thing is, as time went on, we started getting along, when i finally left them i was sad to go and they're always excited when i come back.
my sound advice is kind of like amy's except that i hate children and say give them a swift kick in the pants when they're back is turned and then blame it on the trouble-maker. then when they lash out on the trouble-maker, bam, you've got revenge on all of them. actually, mine isn't like amy's in the least. actually, mine isn't even sound advice. actually, rewind this and then don't read it.
